What began as a dream in 2021 for Dr. Joshua Profitt has now become a reality—one rooted in community, care, and connection. Since graduating from dental school in 2019, Dr. Profitt has dedicated himself to providing top-quality care, gaining valuable experience over the past six years. From the start, Dr. Profitt envisioned a dental practice where patients felt truly at home, receiving exceptional care from a team that values their well-being.

Elmsdale and the greater East Hants area were always on his radar. The idea of serving a close-knit community and being readily available for his patients was something he deeply believed in. As he searched for the perfect location, fate had a hand in shaping his journey. In the late summer of 2022, he met his fiancée—an Enfield local—further solidifying his commitment to making East Hants his professional and personal home.

In 2023, an opportunity arose to transform a charming old house on Highway 214 into something special. What once was a residence is now the welcoming home of East Hants Dental Centre—a place where patients are treated like family, and exceptional dentistry meets heartfelt care.

From a dream to reality, we are honored to serve this amazing community and look forward to growing alongside it for years to come.
